Justice Run

Join Latinos Run, Black Men Run, Latinas Run, and Black Girls Run, powered by the American Cancer Society, for the 6th annual Justice Run on the iconic Summer Streets of Manhattan. Lace up your running shoes and mark your calendars for Saturday, August 5th, as we gather at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, conveniently situated on 132 West 32nd St. between 6th and 7th Ave.

DATE: Saturday, August 5th

TIME: 7 am Meet 7:30 am Start

LOCATION: American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 132 West 32nd St. between 6th and 7th Ave. (Bag Check/ Restrooms on 4th Floor - Post Run Breakfast on 6th Floor Terrace)

ACTIVITIES: Run, Walk, or Bike Ride

DISTANCE: 60 + 90 mins of movement (Multiple pace options)

TICKET OPTIONS: Choose between 2 options: Run + Breakfast or Just join us for the Run

POST-RUN MINGLE/BREAKFAST (AVAILABLE FOR SPECIFIC TICKET HOLDERS): Upon completing the invigorating journey, we will return to the Hope Lodge for a well-deserved post-run mingle and a light breakfast, courtesy of the American Cancer Society.

EVENT DETAILS

The run, walk, or bike ride will commence promptly at 7:30am, taking you through the vibrant car-free streets of Manhattan, where you can embrace the energy and excitement of Summer Streets. As you make your way along the captivating route, you'll witness the stunning architecture and cultural highlights that define our beloved city.

This collaboration between Latinos Run, Black Men Run, Latinas Run, Black Girls Run, and the American Cancer Society not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also aims to raise awareness and support those affected by cancer. It will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow participants, share stories of triumph, and celebrate the power of community. Together, we can make a positive impact and inspire others through our collective strength.

GETTING THERE:

From NJ:

NJ Transit to NY Penn Station. ACS is located ½ block from Penn Station

Path Train to 34th Street. ACS is located 2 streets south from 34th Street Path Stop.

NYC Subway: Every subway in NYC stops within a block or 2 of ACS:

Penn Station Stop (1/2/3/A/C/E)

34th street and 6th Ave Stop (B/D/F/M/Q/RW)

33th and Park Stop (6)

Driving/Parking:

There’s public parking at 31st street between 7th and 8th aves, but it can be expensive.

You should be able to find parking south of 28th street west of 7th ave. (An alternative is to park on 22nd street between 7th and 8th ave and find parking with no much problem. The later you go after 7 am the further west you’d have to park).

LOGISTICS:

Run/Walk/Bike Length Options: 60 mins and 90 mins run

Route: from ACS head east to 32nd Street and Park Ave, then head south. Turn around at 30 min or 45 min mark to make it back on time.

We will break both groups by pace. (9/10/11/11+)

NOTES:

We will all meet in the front of the building

Post-Run Breakfast is located on the 6th floor Terrace

Back Check & Restrooms are located on the 4th Floor (Board Room)

Those not attending post run breakfast will head back and get a water/bagel to-go at the entrance of the building.
